What we do.
Central Lathing, is a ceiling contractor that specializes in the installation of suspension systems for Acoustic Tile, Sheetrock, Wood, and various other tile ceiling finishes. Our work is primarily concentrated in the New York City Metropolitan area. Central Lathing provides quality craftsmanship for commercial and high-end interior construction projects. The Company utilizes a skilled labor force comprised of experienced Lathers all of whom are members of Metal Lathers and Reinforcing Ironworkers Local 46.
Central’s portfolio of work ranges in scope from 50 story buildings to lobby entrance, and from small office spaces to high-end residential projects.
In addition to acoustic ceilings, drywall, and black iron work we also install suspension systems for Plaster ceilings of any shape. We also have experience with framing for Plaster walls in apartments and institutions.
